3D Printing Services

Bespoke 3D printed parts, replacement components and prototypes — no minimum order

At 3D Innovations we specialise in 3D printing bespoke replacement parts, functional prototypes and custom components for businesses across the UK. Based in Wishaw, Scotland, we work with clients in hospitality, manufacturing, facilities management, aviation and engineering.

Whether you need a single discontinued part reverse engineered and reprinted, a batch of custom components, or a functional prototype to test a new design — we deliver precise, production-quality results quickly and cost effectively. No minimum order, no lengthy lead times.

Materials we print in:

  • PLA & PLA+ — ideal for prototypes, display models and low-stress parts
  • PETG — durable, chemical resistant, great for functional components
  • ABS — impact resistant, suitable for engineering applications
  • Nylon — strong, flexible and wear resistant for demanding parts
  • TPU — flexible rubber-like material for seals, grips and gaskets

What we print for businesses:

  • Replacement parts for discontinued or broken components
  • Functional prototypes for product development
  • Custom brackets, clips, housings and enclosures
  • Jigs, fixtures and tooling aids
  • Small batch production runs
  • Reverse engineered parts from photos or physical samples

All parts are designed in-house using Fusion 360 CAD. We work with you from brief to finished part — send us a photo of what you need and we'll take it from there.

"Simon was of great assistance in repairing the tweeter for my S8, the arm actuating the motorised part had broken. Replication of the existing arm was swift, 3D model provided and a few days later function was restored. Will enlist his services again, thanks Simon!"

Industries we print for

Hospitality & Hotels

Replacement fittings, dispenser components and custom fixtures for hotel chains and hospitality businesses — the jobs most suppliers won't handle in single quantities.

Manufacturing & Engineering

Jigs, fixtures, tooling aids and bespoke brackets for manufacturing operations. Replacement parts for machinery with no available spares.

Aviation

Custom instrument surrounds, cable management components and non-structural panel parts for private and light aircraft.

Facilities Management

Discontinued and hard-to-source replacement parts that are holding up repairs. Send us the broken original and we'll reverse engineer and reprint it.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have a minimum order quantity?

No. Single parts are just as welcome as batches. We regularly print one-off replacement components for businesses and individuals.

How long does 3D printing take?

Most parts are ready within 2–5 working days from design sign-off. For urgent jobs, contact us directly and we'll do what we can.

What file format do you need from me?

STEP, STL, OBJ or DXF files are ideal. If you don't have a CAD file, just send a photo, a sketch, or a clear description — we'll design it in Fusion 360.

Can you print a replacement for a broken part I send you?

Yes — this is one of our most common jobs. Send us the broken original or clear photos with critical dimensions and we'll model and print a replacement.

Which material should I choose?

PLA for display models and low-stress parts. PETG for durable functional components exposed to heat or chemicals. ABS for impact resistance. Nylon for high-wear parts. TPU for flexible seals, grips and gaskets. We'll advise on the best choice if you're unsure.

What's the largest part you can print?

Our printers handle most business applications. For very large parts we can print in sections and assemble — contact us with your dimensions and we'll confirm feasibility.

Do you offer 3D printing across the UK, or only in Scotland?

We're based in Wishaw, Scotland but serve clients across the UK. Parts are dispatched via tracked courier. Collection from our workshop is also available.
